As the club prepares for an exciting Premier League season, we're recruiting enthusiastic and professional Safety Stewards to help deliver a safe, welcoming and enjoyable matchday experience for thousands of supporters.
Whether you're already qualified or looking to begin a career in the events and spectator safety industry, this is an excellent opportunity to work at one of Yorkshire's premier sporting venues.
The Role
As a Safety Steward, you'll play a vital role in ensuring every supporter enjoys a safe and memorable matchday.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with spectator safety and customer service
- Supporting the safe movement of supporters during ingress and egress
- Monitoring spectator areas, concourses and stadium entrances
- Conducting ticket checks and access control where required
- Providing information and assistance to supporters and visitors
- Responding to incidents, emergencies and medical situations
- Supporting emergency procedures and evacuations when required
- Working closely with Supervisors, Safety Officers, Control Room staff and emergency services
Every matchday is different, making this an exciting and rewarding role within a professional stadium safety team.

- Passionate about keeping people safe
Experience in stewarding, customer service or security is beneficial but not essential.
Essential Requirements
- A genuine interest in spectator safety and customer service
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and matchdays
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Right to work in the UK
Level 2 Certificate in Spectator Safety is preferred but not essential.
If you don't currently hold the qualification, full training and support will be provided for the right candidates.
